Increase site discoverability with Local Business Schema, now available using Content Library data and the Duda API. Schema provides search engines with structured, reliable information about the site's business, improving SEO, especially in location-based searches that rely on core NAP (Name, Address, Phone) data.
With the new Duda API, you can use data in the site Content Library to effortlessly generate Local Business Schema for the site.
To enable schema via API, you must:
Content Library Field (Business Info) | Schema Use |
---|---|
Business Name | The name of the business as it is most commonly represented to customers. |
Address | The physical address of a business. |
Geo | The latitude / longitude that represents the business's location. |
Social Networks | Social profiles of the business. These are represented in schema as other URLs where the business can be found. |
Business Hours | Hours that the business is open. |
An email address for contacting the business. | |
Phone | A phone number for contacting the business. |
Logo | A logo that represents the business |
Images (Content Library > Business Images) | Images that represent the business. |
About us (Content Library > Business Text) | A short description giving a short overview of the business. |
This is just the first phase of schema markup here at Duda. We’re working on integrating schema right into the platform and will let you know when it’s ready. We’re also working on other schema implementations, and will let you know as soon as they are ready, too.
In the meantime, please see the documentation here.
