The Duda store now allows you to offer clients a transactional site that sells digital products online, like downloadable files, digital art prints, legal documents, music, e-books and more.
Selling digital products is a great opportunity for you to
offer clients a more robust site with a higher price tag, as it lets them turn their informational site into a revenue stream they didn’t necessarily think existed. eCommerce no longer equates with just retail.
And the best part? You don’t need to learn or use anything new in the platform to help your clients sell digital products. It’s all built right into the store’s existing capability you’re familiar with.
Here’s how to get started:
1 - Add a new product
Simply hit the Add a New Product button in your store’s catalog page as you would with any other product. You’ll see a menu with different product types (including physical, digital, service, donation and more). Select Digital product.
2 - Upload the files and add related info
Upload the files you’d like your digital product to include. This can be one or multiple files per product. Next, add the relevant product description, upload enticing images, and set the price.
3 - Activate the product and start selling
Once your digital product includes all of the above, set the product’s status to Active and save. That’s it - your digital product is now visible and ready for sale online.
Digital products are available with the Advanced Store site plan. You can try it out before upgrading using the free Demo store (included in the site when first adding a store).
