Get Better Conversion Insights with Detailed Form Submissions

Knowing which of your site pages converts better is priceless. To help you understand just that, we’ve released an update to our Contact Form widget to include the form title and page name it’s on, right in your new submission notification email, and in your Site Overview.

Now, when site visitors submit a contact form on your site, you and the business owner will know exactly which site it is, what form the visitor used, and which site page it’s on. These are of course in addition to receiving the form submitter’s info and email address. All this data combined serves as a powerful tool for understanding how well your site drives visitors to act.

Leverage your new insights to optimize your site and strategy

By instantly knowing which form and site page visitors used to contact your client’s business, you’ll be able to optimize your site more strategically, and finetune your site’s content, homepage, even create more drilled-down campaigns, adjust your navigation links and more.

An added bonus: enjoy better lead management

This Contact Form update also offers a more efficient and productive way to manage your clients’ online leads. If your client applies some basic rules to their business's inbox, they can easily and quickly use the updated submission notification email to assign different leads to the most appropriate member on their team, and act on these submissions much faster. Some examples include form submissions related to support, sales, inquiries, business development and more.

Get these insights in your Site Overview, too

The distinction of form titles and page names mentioned above will also appear in your Site Overview, to help you easily distinguish between multiple forms located on the same site.

A few things to keep in mind

This update currently applies only to site owners, and will work properly providing you’ve left the email subject line field empty under New submission notification (as it’s set to include your form title and page name by default). Naturally, you can always customize these defaults to match your or your client’s needs.
