Local Business Schema is a powerful tool for enabling your small business customers to be discovered in local search. Now, in addition to choosing the Local Business Type, you can set additional Schema fields that help your clients get found by potential customers.
Setting up Local Business Schema enables search engines like Google to know what your websites are all about. The more information you add that Google can understand, the more accurate the results that potential visitors will receive.
With this latest improvement, you’ll be able to add Additional Schema fields directly related to your client’s business type. For all business types, you’ll be able to add price range, either in symbols or actual amounts. In addition, for specific business types, you’ll be prompted to add other information that users tend to seek. For example,
To set up Local Business Schema, go to the site Content Library, click Business Info, and fill in the required information. Once you choose the Business Type, the Additional Schema fields related to that business type will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.
Note: If you've already set up Local Business Schema for a specific site, you can update it now with Additional Schema fields and republish.
