Send Custom Widgets to Other Duda Accounts with a Click of a Button

We’ve added the ability to send complete, ready-to-go custom widgets to other Duda accounts, right from the Widget Builder and without the need to rebuild them in the other accounts.

This allows you to create an additional revenue stream for your business by selling your custom widgets to others (Duda does not facilitate payment for custom widgets, you must set it up outside of the platform). Those receiving the widget will have it available in their editor’s Widgets panel for all sites in their account.

As a reminder,
Duda’s Widget Builder lets you build custom widgets to enhance and fit your client site’s specific needs. To create a custom widget, you’ll need to write the code yourself or use the services of a Duda Expert that can do it for you.

How sending a custom widget to another Duda account works

The option to send a published custom widget is available in your Widget Builder’s dashboard. Once you’ve selected that option, all that’s needed is to copy a link and share it with the other account. The recipient pastes that into their browser and accepts the new widget. Simple.

And this is what it looks like on the receiving end:

Please note that once you generate the link for sending your custom widget, it will be available for a one-time use, and will expire after 24 hours.
