Collections API: JavaScript Improvements

If you’re using the Collections API to build custom widgets, this update is going to save you time and improve performance by returning filtered, sorted, and paginated data from your collections using JavaScript.

Until now, if you built custom widgets, you had to build everything from scratch and develop your own logic. Now, if you’re using collections with your custom widgets, your life just got a whole lot easier. You can now use the API to fetch the parameters that you want.

This saves you time when developing new widgets, and gives you improved widget performance when using large collections.

For a walkthrough on how to use the Collections API and all of its options, see this.

Want to enable this in existing widgets?

Simply go back to those widgets and update them with the new Collections API functionalities.
