This post is part of our Monthly Wrap Up series - a collection of small product and feature improvements we’ve released in the past month.
Now you can set up a custom time in the Countdown widget, and manually enter whatever end time you want. This gives you a lot more freedom in choosing how to get your site visitors excited about a limited time offer or an upcoming event.
You can now add a description to your store’s category pages. Use this to provide additional category details or to get store visitors excited about that specific category. To add a description, go to your product catalog, choose the relevant category (or create a new one), and you’ll see an option to add a description right below the category's name field.
We’ve made several improvements to the Flex editing floating bar that let you design with Flex more easily and intuitively. Here they are:
When choosing to use bullet points in text, you can now browse and use other bullet designs to make your lists more engaging. Choose between stars, check signs, arrows and more.
We’ve added the option to control the restaurant category that will be opened when accessing the restaurant menu on mobile. Choose between having all menu categories opened (or expanded), having just one category open at a time, or having just the first category opened by default.
We’re happy to update that we’ve added the icons for WhatsApp, TikTok and Google My Business to the the Business Info section in your site’s Content Library. Now you can connect these new icons to data and easily control the business’s social icons throughout the site.
That's it for this month. See you in next month's Monthly Wrap Up post.
